11.내 손으로 너희에게 이렇게 큰 글자로 쓴 것을 보라 12.무릇 육체의 모양을 내려 하는 자들이 억지로 너희에게 할례를 받게 함은 그들이 그리스도의 십자가로 말미암아 박해를 면하려 함뿐이라 13.할례를 받은 그들이라도 스스로 율법은 지키지 아니하고 너희에게 할례를 받게 하려 하는 것은 그들이 너희의 육체로 자랑하려 함이라 14.그러나 내게는 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 십자가 외에 결코 자랑할 것이 없으니 그리스도로 말미암아 세상이 나를 대하여 십자가에 못 박히고 내가 또한 세상을 대하여 그러하니라 15.할례나 무할례가 아무 것도 아니로되 오직 새로 지으심을 받는 것만이 중요하니라 16.무릇 이 규례를 행하는 자에게와 하나님의 이스라엘에게 평강과 긍휼이 있을지어다 17.이 후로는 누구든지 나를 괴롭게 하지 말라 내가 내 몸에 예수의 흔적을 지니고 있노라 18.형제들아 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 심령에 있을지어다 아멘. [ESV] 11 See with what large letters I am writing to you with my own hand. 12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would force you to be circumcised, and only in order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. 16 And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. 17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus. 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. 잠언(Proverbs) 30:18-20, 18.내가 심히 기이히 여기고도 깨닫지 못하는 것 서넛이 있나니 19.곧 공중에 날아다니는 독수리의 자취와 반석 위로 기어 다니는 뱀의 자취와 바다로 지나다니는 배의 자취와 남자가 여자와 함께 한 자취며 20.음녀의 자취도 그러하니라 그가 먹고 그의 입을 씻음 같이 말하기를 내가 악을 행하지 아니하였다 하느니라. 18 Three things are too wonderful for me; four I do not understand: 19 the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a serpent on a rock, the way of a ship on the high seas, and the way of a man with a virgin. 20 This is the way of an adulteress: she eats and wipes her mouth and says, “I have done no wrong.”

2. 나의 삶에 예수님에 대한 고난의 흔적은 있는가?

이사야(Isaiah) 1:5-6, [쉬운성경] 5 어찌하여 너희가 맞을 짓만 하느냐? 어찌하여 자꾸 하나님을 배반하느냐? 너희 머리는 상했고, 마음도 병들었구나. 6 머리부터 발끝까지 성한 곳 한 군데도 없이, 온몸이 다치고 멍들고 상처투성이구나. 그런데도 치료하지 못하고, 싸매지도 못하고, 기름을 바르지도 못하는구나. [NLT] 5 Why do you continue to invite punishment? Must you rebel forever? Your head is injured, and your heart is sick. 6 You are battered from head to foot— covered with bruises, welts, and infected wounds— without any soothing ointments or bandages.

[NLT] 24 Instead of smelling of sweet perfume, she will stink. She will wear a rope for a sash, and her elegant hair will fall out. She will wear rough burlap instead of rich robes. Shame will replace her beauty.

우리 그리스도인의 영광은 바로 예수의 흔적을 갖고 살아내는 것입니다.
