[ESV] 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. 18 But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for “Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.” 19 But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says, “I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a foolish nation I will make you angry.” 20 Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.” 21 But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

INTRODUCTION: [말씀을 듣게하고 여호와 경외하기를 배우게 하라.] - Let them hear the word and learn to fear the Lord.
신명기(Deuteronomy) 31:9-13, 9.또 모세가 이 율법을 써서 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위 자손 제사장들과 이스라엘 모든 장로에게 주고 10.모세가 그들에게 명령하여 이르기를 매 칠 년 끝 해 곧 면제년의 초막절에 11.온 이스라엘이 네 하나님 여호와 앞 그가 택하신 곳에 모일 때에 이 율법을 낭독하여 온 이스라엘에게 듣게 할지니 12.곧 백성의 남녀와 어린이와 네 성읍 안에 거류하는 타국인을 모으고 그들에게 듣고 배우고 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하며 이 율법의 모든 말씀을 지켜 행하게 하고 13.또 너희가 요단을 건너가서 차지할 땅에 거주할 동안에 이 말씀을 알지 못하는 그들의 자녀에게 듣고 네 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 배우게 할지니라. 9 Then Moses wrote this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel. 10 And Moses commanded them, “At the end of every seven years, at the set time in the year of release, at the Feast of Booths, 11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing. 12 Assemble the people, men, women, and little ones, and the sojourner within your towns, that they may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, and be careful to do all the words of this law, 13 and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear the Lord your God, as long as you live in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”
모든 것에 끝이 있음을 기억하고 다음 세대에게 하나님의 말씀을 가르쳐 그분을 경외하며 살게 하라. Remember that there is an end to all things and teach the next generation the Word of God to live in fear of Him.
이사야(Isaiah) 52:7, 7.좋은 소식을 전하며 평화를 공포하며 복된 좋은 소식을 가져오며 구원을 공포하며 시온을 향하여 이르기를 네 하나님이 통치하신다 하는 자의 산을 넘는 발이 어찌 그리 아름다운가? 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

에스겔(Ezekiel) 18:23, 23.주 여호와의 말씀이니라 내가 어찌 악인이 죽는 것을 조금인들 기뻐하랴 그가 돌이켜 그 길에서 떠나 사는 것을 어찌 기뻐하지 아니하겠느냐? 23 Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?
베드로후서(2 Peter) 3:8-9, 8.사랑하는 자들아 주께는 하루가 천 년 같고 천 년이 하루 같다는 이 한 가지를 잊지 말라 9.주의 약속은 어떤 이들이 더디다고 생각하는 것 같이 더딘 것이 아니라 오직 주께서는 너희를 대하여 오래 참으사 아무도 멸망하지 아니하고 다 회개하기에 이르기를 원하시느니라. 8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
