TEXT PASSAGE: 로마서(Romans) 9:6-18, [개역개정:ESV]

6.그러나 하나님의 말씀이 폐하여진 것 같지 않도다 이스라엘에게서 난 그들이 다 이스라엘이 아니요 7.또한 아브라함의 씨가 다 그의 자녀가 아니라 오직 이삭으로부터 난 자라야 네 씨라 불리리라 하셨으니 8.곧 육신의 자녀가 하나님의 자녀가 아니요 오직 약속의 자녀가 씨로 여기심을 받느니라 9.약속의 말씀은 이것이니 명년 이 때에 내가 이르리니 사라에게 아들이 있으리라 하심이라 10.그뿐 아니라 또한 리브가가 우리 조상 이삭 한 사람으로 말미암아 임신하였는데 11.그 자식들이 아직 나지도 아니하고 무슨 선이나 악을 행하지 아니한 때에 택하심을 따라 되는 하나님의 뜻이 행위로 말미암지 않고 오직 부르시는 이로 말미암아 서게 하려 하사 12.리브가에게 이르시되 큰 자가 어린 자를 섬기리라 하셨나니 13.기록된 바 내가 야곱은 사랑하고 에서는 미워하였다 하심과 같으니라 14.그런즉 우리가 무슨 말을 하리요 하나님께 불의가 있느냐 그럴 수 없느니라 15.모세에게 이르시되 내가 긍휼히 여길 자를 긍휼히 여기고 불쌍히 여길 자를 불쌍히 여기리라 하셨으니 16.그런즉 원하는 자로 말미암음도 아니요 달음박질하는 자로 말미암음도 아니요 오직 긍휼히 여기시는 하나님으로 말미암음이니라 17.성경이 바로에게 이르시되 내가 이 일을 위하여 너를 세웠으니 곧 너로 말미암아 내 능력을 보이고 내 이름이 온 땅에 전파되게 하려 함이라 하셨으니 18.그런즉 하나님께서 하고자 하시는 자를 긍휼히 여기시고 하고자 하시는 자를 완악하게 하시느니라. [ESV] 6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, 7 and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring. 9 For this is what the promise said: “About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.” 10 And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls— 12 she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” 14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

 

Question: 하나님 앞에서 우리가 항상 기억해야 할 것과 기도해야 할 것은? - What should we always remember and pray for before God?

 

OUTLINE: 오직 긍휼히 여기시는 하나님으로 말미암음이니라.(It depends on God, who has mercy.)

1.     약속의 말씀의 성취로 태어난 이삭 - Isaac born in fulfillment of the word of promise.

2.     태어나기 전부터 택하심을 입은 야곱 - Jacob chosen before birth.

3.     완악함이 주의 이름을 온세상에 전파되게 한 바로 - Pharaoh whose stubbornness caused His name to be spread throughout the world.

 

INTRODUCTION: [주의 큰 긍휼 구하라.] – Pray for the Lord’s great mercy.

다니엘(Daniel) 9:15-20&23, 15.강한 손으로 주의 백성을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내시고 오늘과 같이 명성을 얻으신 우리 주 하나님이여 우리는 범죄하였고 악을 행하였나이다            16.주여 구하옵나니 주는 주의 공의를 따라 주의 분노를 주의 성 예루살렘, 주의 거룩한 산에서 떠나게 하옵소서 이는 우리의 죄와 우리 조상들의 죄악으로 말미암아 예루살렘과 주의 백성이 사면에 있는 자들에게 수치를 당함이니이다 17.그러하온즉 우리 하나님이여 지금 주의 종의 기도와 간구를 들으시고 주를 위하여 주의 얼굴 빛을 주의 황폐한 성소에 비추시옵소서 18.나의 하나님이여 귀를 기울여 들으시며 눈을 떠서 우리의 황폐한 상황과 주의 이름으로 일컫는 성을 보옵소서 우리가 주 앞에 간구하옵는 것은 우리의 공의를 의지하여 하는 것이 아니요 주의 큰 긍휼을 의지하여 함이니이다 19.주여 들으소서 주여 용서하소서 주여 귀를 기울이시고 행하소서 지체하지 마옵소서 나의 하나님이여 주 자신을 위하여 하시옵소서 이는 주의 성과 주의 백성이 주의 이름으로 일컫는 바 됨이니이다 20.내가 이같이 말하여 기도하며 내 죄와 내 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 자복하고 내 하나님의 거룩한 산을 위하여 내 하나님 여호와 앞에 간구할 때 21.곧 내가 기도할 때에 이전에 환상 중에 본 그 사람 가브리엘이 빨리 날아서 저녁 제사를 드릴 때 즈음에 내게 이르더니 22.내게 가르치며 내게 말하여 이르되 다니엘아 내가 이제 네게 지혜와 총명을 주려고 왔느니라 23.곧 네가 기도를 시작할 즈음에 명령이 내렸으므로 이제 네게 알리러 왔느니라 너는 크게 은총을 입은 자라 그런즉 너는 이 일을 생각하고 그 환상을 깨달을지니라. 15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 “O Lord, according to all your righteous acts, let your anger and your wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy hill, because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a byword among all who are around us. 17 Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord, make your face to shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate. 18 O my God, incline your ear and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations, and the city that is called by your name. For we do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive. O Lord, pay attention and act. Delay not, for your own sake, O my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.” 20 While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea before the Lord my God for the holy hill of my God, 21 while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the first, came to me in swift flight at the time of the evening sacrifice. 22 He made me understand, speaking with me and saying, “O Daniel, I have now come out to give you insight and understanding. 23 At the beginning of your pleas for mercy a word went out, and I have come to tell it to you, for you are greatly loved. Therefore consider the word and understand the vision.

 

CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 주의 자비 때문에 여기까지 왔음을 기억하고 끝가지 완주하기 위해 주의 자비를 구하며 사시기 바랍니다. - I pray that you remember that you have come so far because of the Lord’s mercy so that you may live with seeking His mercy to finish this race.
