TEXT: 고린도전서(1 Corinthians) 13:1-3, [개역개정:NIV]

1.내가 사람의 방언과 천사의 말을 할지라도 사랑이 없으면 소리 나는 구리와 울리는 꽹과리가 되고 2.내가 예언하는 능력이 있어 모든 비밀과 모든 지식을 알고 또 산을 옮길 만한 모든 믿음이 있을지라도 사랑이 없으면 내가 아무 것도 아니요 3.내가 내게 있는 모든 것으로 구제하고 또 내 몸을 불사르게 내줄지라도 사랑이 없으면 내게 아무 유익이 없느니라.

[NIV] 1.If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2.If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3.If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

천사의 말을 하는 사람도 사랑없으면 소용이 없고/심오한 진리 깨달은 자도 울리는 징과 같네

하나님 말씀 전한다 해도 그 무슨 소용있나/ 사랑 없으면 소용이 없고 아무것도 아닙니다

진리를 보고 기뻐합니다 무례와 사심 품지않으며 / 모든것 믿고 바라는 사랑 모든것 덮어주네

지금은 희미하게 보이나 그때는 주를 만나게 되리/하나님 나를 알고 계시듯 우리도 주를 알리

MAIN BODY: 사랑이 없으면 내가 아무 것도 아니요. (If I have not love, I am nothing.

1. 사랑 없으면 은혜도 헛되다. - Without love, grace is in vain.

고린도전서(1 Corinthians) 13:1, 1.내가 사람의 방언과 천사의 말을 할지라도 사랑이 없으면 소리 나는 구리와 울리는 꽹과리가 되고1.If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

마태복음(Matthew) 5:23-24, 23.그러므로 예물을 제단에 드리려다가 거기서 네 형제에게 원망들을 만한 일이 있는 것이 생각나거든 24.예물을 제단 앞에 두고 먼저 가서 형제와 화목하고 그 후에 와서 예물을 드리라. 23."Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24.leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

잠언(Proverbs) 21:13, 13.귀를 막고 가난한 자가 부르짖는 소리를 듣지 아니하면 자기가 부르짖을 때에도 들을 자가 없으리라. 13.If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.

잠언(Proverbs) 28:9, 9.사람이 귀를 돌려 율법을 듣지 아니하면 그의 기도도 가증하니라. 9.If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable.

2. 사랑 없으면 믿음도 헛되다. - Without love, faith is in vain.

고린도전서(1 Corinthians) 13:2, 2.내가 예언하는 능력이 있어 모든 비밀과 모든 지식을 알고 또 산을 옮길 만한 모든 믿음이 있을지라도 사랑이 없으면 내가 아무 것도 아니요. 2.If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

마태복음(Matthew) 22:36-40, 36.선생님 율법 중에서 어느 계명이 크니이까 37.예수께서 이르시되 네 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라 하셨으니 38.이것이 크고 첫째 되는 계명이요 39.둘째도 그와 같으니 네 이웃을 네 자신 같이 사랑하라 하셨으니 40.이 두 계명이 온 율법과 선지자의 강령이니라. 36."Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37.Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38.This is the first and greatest commandment. 39.And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40.All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

3. 사랑 없으면 헌신도 헛되다. - Without love, sacrifice is in vain.

고린도전서(1 Corinthians) 13:3, 3.내가 내게 있는 모든 것으로 구제하고 또 내 몸을 불사르게 내줄지라도 사랑이 없으면 내게 아무 유익이 없느니라. 3.If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

요한복음(John) 13:34-35, 34.새 계명을 너희에게 주노니 서로 사랑하라 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라 35.너희가 서로 사랑하면 이로써 모든 사람이 너희가 내 제자인 줄 알리라. 34."A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35.By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

요한1서(1 John) 4:10-11, 10.사랑은 여기 있으니 우리가 하나님을 사랑한 것이 아니요 하나님이 우리를 사랑하사 우리 죄를 속하기 위하여 화목 제물로 그 아들을 보내셨음이라 11.사랑하는 자들아 하나님이 이같이 우리를 사랑하셨은즉 우리도 서로 사랑하는 것이 마땅하도다. 10.This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11.Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

요한복음(John) 3:16, 16.하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라.

16."For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

요한1서(1 John) 4:7-8, 7.사랑하는 자들아 우리가 서로 사랑하자 사랑은 하나님께 속한 것이니 사랑하는 자마다 하나님으로부터 나서 하나님을 알고 8.사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라. 7.Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8.Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

PURPOSE: 사랑하는 성도들이 매사를 사랑으로 행하며 살아 가시기를 간절히 소원합니다.

CONCLUSION: Lovely brothers and sisters! I pray that you live in love with everything.
