[ESV] 13 That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem, 14 and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened. 15 While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them. 16 But their eyes were kept from recognizing him. 17 And he said to them, “What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?” And they stood still, looking sad. 18 Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, “Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?” 19 And he said to them, “What things?” And they said to him, “Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, 20 and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. 21 But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened. 22 Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning, 23 and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. 24 Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see.” 25 And he said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. 28 So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther, 29 but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. 30 When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. 31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. 32 They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” 33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” 35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
Question: 예수님은 어떤 모습으로 우리에게 찾아오시고 우리에게 바른 깨달음을 주시나? - In what form does Jesus come to us and give us the right realization?
INTRODUCTION: [너희에게 어떻게 말씀하셨는지를 기억하라.] - Remember how He told you.
1) 부활의 증거 = 빈 무덤. - The Evidence of Resurrection = The Empty Tomb.
2) 하신 말씀을 기억하라. - Remember what He said.
3) 부활의 첫 증인. - The First Witness of the Resurrection.

Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” 8 And they remembered his words, 9 and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. 10 Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, 11 but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. 12 But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.

1. 엠마오로 가는 두 제자에게 나타나신 예수님 - Jesus' Appearance to the Two Disciples on the Road to Emmaus.

2. 성경을 통해 고난과 부활을 설명하시는 예수님 -Jesus explains His suffering and resurrection through the Scriptures.

누가복음(Luke) 16:27-31, 27.이르되 그러면 아버지여 구하노니 나사로를 내 아버지의 집에 보내소서 28.내 형제 다섯이 있으니 그들에게 증언하게 하여 그들로 이 고통 받는 곳에 오지 않게 하소서 29.아브라함이 이르되 그들에게 모세와 선지자들이 있으니 그들에게 들을지니라 30.이르되 그렇지 아니하니이다 아버지 아브라함이여 만일 죽은 자에게서 그들에게 가는 자가 있으면 회개하리이다 31.이르되 모세와 선지자들에게 듣지 아니하면 비록 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나는 자가 있을지라도 권함을 받지 아니하리라 하였다 하시니라. 27 And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father's house— 28 for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ 31 He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”
3. 말씀을 깨닫고 부활의 증인된 제자들 - The disciples realizing the Word and witnessing the resurrection.
누가복음(Luke) 24:33-35, 33.곧 그 때로 일어나 예루살렘에 돌아가 보니 열한 제자 및 그들과 함께 한 자들이 모여 있어 34.말하기를 주께서 과연 살아나시고 시몬에게 보이셨다 하는지라 35.두 사람도 길에서 된 일과 예수께서 떡을 떼심으로 자기들에게 알려지신 것을 말하더라. 33 And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, 34 saying, “The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” 35 Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.
CONCLUSION: 사랑하는 성도들이 말씀을 통해 부활하신 주님을 만나고 부활의 증인으로 살아가시기 바랍니다. – I pray that you encounter the risen Lord through the Word so that you may live as witnesses of the resurrection.
